The Mumbo Jumbo Mystery is being described as a one-act play created for Base Camp families and friends. It will be a part of a bigger event with fun activities for all. The Base Camp team has said the plot will revolve around the Johnson family as they prep for a big move. It’ll be all hands on deck! Our main characters, the Johnson kids, will be tasked with packing up the family library, and as they do, they might uncover a curious mystery in the process. The audience will be invited to follow along as they discover decades-old clues hidden right under their noses!

We All Have a Story

Everyone who steps through the doors of Summit has a story. It can be easy to take that for granted, but God is working on each one of us. Each person who sits next to us during service, serves in Base Camp, or flips the dispenser on the coffee in the lobby is on a journey with God.

Earvin and Maria Lora’s journey recently included getting baptized at Summit’s last baptism event in the fall of 2023, and hearing the story of how God guided them through this big step in their lives is truly awe-inspiring.

We just started the year with a service where Lead Pastor Michael Hinton, along with the rest of our Pastors, took the stage and guided us on a stroll down memory lane, reminding us of who we’ve been as a church. Their goal was to inspire us with the journey we’ve been on, all the hours of service in the Central Florida area, and all the different faces of Summit across multiple campuses and now multiple generations.

That wasn’t all, however. Michael also presented our new mission statement, which is (...drum roll, please…) “to inspire people to find and follow the way of Jesus.
